One and the Other

Funny, sad, scary and beautiful. . .
These circus luminaries combine classic stunts, acerbic truths, and audacious acts in a wonderfully exposing and messy celebration
One and the Other tells the story of Sue Broadway and her not so helpful assistant Debra Batton. As contemporary clowns exploring playful behaviours and riotous attitudes they hope to inspire new ways of perceiving older bodies in full flight.
One and the Other tests the limits of friendship, collaboration and comic partnership in the contrary and confusing world of the over 50’s with classic circus acts such as hat juggling and mini trampoline acrobatics they embody positive aging, and offer circus as a delightful alternative to media sedation.
